What is possible?

Open with outcomes and then inspect the conditions that made them credible. Every headline has a qualification.

Working notes

  • Diagnosis of a data-loader stall produced a reported roughly 16× speedup after an initial wrong guess.
  • An audit corrected throughput from 32.5k to 187k tokens/s/GPU; the audit itself needed checking.
  • A production run generated 188.8 million simulated events on 59 nodes in under 18 minutes; artifact checks still matter.
  • A fan-out inventory found 28 unmerged or unpushed software pieces against an initial estimate of 10–15.
  • A crash-tested bridge returned in about five minutes, with the workhorse fully live after about 16 minutes.

Scope of the evidence

These are reported cases from research sessions, not controlled comparisons or promises for every task.

Before the course

  • [TODO: select a compact worked example and its verification artifact.]
  • [TODO: rehearse the live walkthrough and prepare a fallback.]
