Professional agentic science¶
Scientific discipline changes how agents are used. Delegation becomes useful when its scope, evidence and stopping conditions are explicit.
Working notes¶
- A scoped contract specifies editable files, acceptance checks and a deviation report.
- Reproduce a known result before claiming improvement.
- Investigate surprisingly good numbers before trusting them.
- Trace claims back to inputs, scripts and artifacts.
- Calibrate reviewers and verify their findings independently.
- Use durable project state and explicit approval boundaries.
